The majestic tree stood on the corner of St. Charles Ave and Walnut Street in Audubon Park. The historic New Orleans monument named for the renowned naturalist John James Audubon and designed by the Olmsted brothers, celebrated landscape architects at the turn of the century.
NOLA Pens was the only entity to secure wood from this remarkable tree after it was fallen with termites.
